Hello there! 

My name is Tom Reifsnyder.

I’m a trainer based out of Morris Plains, NJ who works with a wide variety of ages and populations. I offer availability to interact with clients both in-person - at my home studio - and online to address their specific needs, which often include general health and fitness, body composition management, muscle strength and hypertrophy, and athletic development.

Outside of my private training business, T/R Training LLC, I work as a post-rehab personal trainer for Atlantic Health System in several outpatient physical therapy clinics. As for my educational background, I graduated with a master's degree in exercise science from Montclair State University in May 2021. Additionally, I am credentialed as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and a Certified Personal Trainer via the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).

I consider myself a firm believer in first ensuring mastery of the basics before ultimately improving upon your strong foundation of skills and habits. However, rest assured that I will always have your unique situation in mind when training you. At the end of the day, if you have a positive attitude and a desire to better yourself, then I would love to discuss working with you.​

Work with me in a 1-on-1, in-person setting to address specific needs and maximize personal feedback and development.


Work with me online via your choice of email, phone and video meeting as I answer any question you may have and collaborate with you to develop a plan uniquely tailored to your goals, abilities and history.


Work with me in-person or online within a group of 2-6 individuals to address a combination of general and specific needs (larger groups may be possible upon request).


Work with me in person or online in a team setting (> 6 individuals) to enhance general attributes such as physical performance, mental preparation and team chemistry.
